Pollack, the 2002 Southeastern Conference Player of the Year, was one of 22 college football players honored by Playboy. But he declined the invitation, saying the magazine's contents conflicted with his religious beliefs.
``When you talk to somebody about living their lives the right way and abstaining from sex until marriage, posing in Playboy would send the wrong message,'' said Pollack, a junior from Snellville.
It is nice that some people will stand up for their faith. It used to be rare but now it is more common. The Rocky Calmus that the article talks about is from the town I live in, Jenks, OK.
